Hmm from a previous post i was looking at the following 15inch LCD mons
Samsung 152T
Eizo L375

Samsung 152 T and guess what....[/L]:disgust:
Data sheet from they Official Site here.
... 550:1, 25ms The same was noted in flier given out at the local computer mall.
Data sheet from the US Site here.. 450:1
If they jack up the Contrast Ration by 10% what stops them cooking the other numbers.....Just wondering why its isn't marketed as a 25ms LCD in the US..?

Anyone else know of any other companies which cook their LCD specs....?

Heard viewsonic isn't too honest with there specs too...550:1 25ms 330 cd/m2 on the Vx550+......

Last of all, can some one please tell me what reponse time really means?

">This mon looks really good for 380 bucks.......too good maybe?</a>:disgust:

The Topcon/Utopian LCDs are really quite good for the price, and is the most popular LCD brand here in Hong Kong. I thought they were using class B LCDs, but after a lot of testing, most are of very good quality. While it can be difficult to get a vendor here in HK to guarantee "no stuck pixels", some of the features that you can get on the Topcon LCDs, such as 8ms response, are incredible for the price that you pay.

If there is one thing I have to criticise, it is the colour ramps of a lot of the lower end Topcon LCDs....simply horrible.
