System specs:
3.2 Ghz P4 Northwood (512 KB)
Abit IC7-G motherboard
512 MB PC3200 (DDR400) Corsair XMS RAM
Sapphire Radeon X800 XT 256 MB
Soundblaster Audigy 2
Lite-On DVD and CDRW (16x and 52x32x52x)
Dell Ultrasharp 2001 FP LCD Monitor
Klipsch 2.1 System

I just set up my new system and noticed soon after a strange high-pitched noise coming from the system. When I looked further, I found that the sound was coming from the monitor and/or the speakers. When I turn the speakers off, there is a slight high-pitched noise that comes from the monitor. When they are both on, the speakers, when the volume is turned up higher than a certain level, make a much more distinct and noticeable hissing noise. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, and what could be done to get rid of the hiss? Thanks.
