LCD size and Planar??

Anybody with experience with the Plan 19" LCD monitor ?

I was planning to buy a 19" LCD but now the prices are way too high 🙁 and i can't wait more than a week more to order.

I am thinking if i should invest the extra $100-$150 for a 19" LCD, or if i should just get an 18" LCD.
The problem is that i am now using a 19" CRT (18" viewable) and i find 1280x1024 resulution to make things too small for me. So i though that 1280x1024 on a 19" LCD would be much better than on the 18" (since you loose quality if you don't use the native resolution).
 
I had a 19" CRT and switched to an 18.1" Planar LCD. 1280x1024 looked like crap on my CRT, one could easily go blind trying to read text. On the Planar...every thing is crystal clear at 1280x1024. I don't want to discourage you from buying the 19". If that is what you want you should get it, but on the other hand if you don't feel like spending that much you will not be disappointed by the 18.1" at its native resolution.
