LCD shutting off randomly

so after i took out my a64 3000+ i put in my x2 4200+ and since then my LCD started going into low power mode randomly. the cpu is at stock so i am not sure whats causing the trouble. it cant be the video card since it didnt happen when i had the 3000+ venice in.


any suggestions

the plugs should be fine because it didnt happen when i installed x64 XP on the a64 venice. this is all happening after i installed a fresh install of x64 XP on x2 4200+

Yeah, one of the Pentium Ds we have at the office does this alot too. Only on the DVI port though. Analog one is fine.
