Picked up a really nice older laptop, P3, 700 Mhz. to re-sell.
It is nearly perfect in every aspect, except the LCD has a couple of "blotchy" scuff marks (1/2"x2") on it, almost center of the screen.
I've used some weak solvent on it, in case it may have been a residue, but alas, it is surely scuffed.
I'm not talking scratches, just a "rubbed area", perhaps from rubbing on the keyboard.
That "Scratch fix" for glasses does a good job of hiding the actual scuffs, but then you can see the area where you applied it, it's shinier than the matte LCD.
Anyone ever tried these automotive headlight cleaning packages?
Anyone ever tried anything else that worked?
