LCD screen rotation - lost from latest ATI Catalyst drivers.

I've been using the ATI catalyst drivers (March release) with my Planar PX171M, and have been extensively using the embedded rotation drivers to turn the image 90 degrees to match the screen's rotation. Unfortunately the latest ATI drivers (May 15 release) do not support it. ATI took it out for no apparent reason that their support desk are telling!

Anyone else had this issue / any way around it?

Do you remember seeing it on the previous version, Vadatajs? I'm feeling a bit annoyed as I'm getting blindsided by ATI - they are amazingly blunt on their customer support / tech support responses.

uninstalled the new drivers, reinstalled the old ones but the option is still missing. I wonder if they had some copyright issues with portrait.com or something . . . .? Looks like it has gone for good!

fyi - if anyone needs Planar PX171M rotation drivers, Planar will ship them to you if you did not get them with your screen - early purchasers did not get them, newer orderes appear to be receiving them. Just call Planar Tech support.
