LCD Screen Digital Input

I'm new to the LCD/DVI video world, so I have a stupid question. The ViewSonic VG151 LCD screen has a Digital DVI-D input. The ATI Radeon 7500 64MB DVI video card has a DVI-I connector. Will that screen work with that video card? I'm confused about the difference between a DVI-D and DVI-I connection.

DVI-I simply has the alternative, old style analog VGA signals on the connector as well. DVI-D display devices use the digital signals, and the DVI-D connector on the display's cable does fit the DVI-I receptacle on the graphics card.

regards, Peter
