they're around 8 ms now??? but i think thats only one brand...still waiting until they are around 4ms when i use an LCD for gaming...
 
Most makers have had 8ms models out for some time, including on 19+ inch models. A couple weeks ago one or two brands (maybe more now?) threw some 4ms models into the mix.

A lot of people will draw the line for gaming at 12ms - anything at or below is fine for games. It does, of course, depend on the brand and personal preference. I don't think you need to wait for 4ms, though.
 
they dont actually stay at 8ms the whole time it moves up and down.

sorry to jack thread but is there a response time on crt's? or is is 0 or what?
