Lcd replacement question, are panels compatible?

My dell 6000 uses a LP154W02 (b1)(k2) display, i've seen ones being sold with the same LP154W02 model but (b1)(K5) or k6 etc. or glossy. would these actually be compatible? or are mounting points and such changed with revisions or whatever? annoyingly confusing..and sites don't give much info on what they are selling🙁
 
ok never mind, found a glossy (b1)(k2) lcd on ebay express and bought that. still no idea what the k designation means...heh about 200 shipped.
 
yea i thought that too, but theres no way to know🙁
and returning such things if i buy a wrong one isn't simple...restocking fee's/shipping etc. i guess i chose not to make that gamble. i figure it could be revision, or the mounting points could be different which would be bad.
