LCD Projector - Blue vertical line in the middle of the screen

I got a Sanyo PLC-8800 N.

If I have a black screen (projector is on) or a night dark sequence in a movie, it will create a narrow vertical blue line in the middle of the screen. The line is like a dark blue background color and has fading out edges.


It is not a source or input problem. I tried dvd, dvd progressive, pc and laptop; all are creating the same line. Other than that everthing looks sharp.

Does anyone has an idea what this is and how/if it can be fixed?

try turning a screen control down a little.it may take care of your problem.
screen control may be located on a flyback transformer.
