My old laptop's LCD screen was replaced. I was told the old screen could not be fixed and agreed to pay for a new one.
Now when I started using my newly installed LCD I noticed that when the picture shown is realtively dark, areas that look like fuzzy spots or dust are noticable as slighly brighter then the rest of the picture area.
This led me to suspect that my new LCD is either not new, or wasn't handled properly by the technician, or has manufacture defects.
I don't know enough about hardware to tell, so I am wondering whether anyone here knows this kind of problem and can tell me whether it could arise from mishandling or indicate that the LCD isn't new.
