My monitor just started acting ... well odd. The colors are getting thise off collred lines in it.. idon't know what they are. I took a picture of them so you can get a better understanding.

On the red emblem, hows it's shaded darker... the digital camera just wasn't sensistive enough to caputre the lines... there are black lines where that collor offset is.

See there you can see the color offset and you can make out the outline of the lines. THis just started happening. I have no idea what caused it.

And when i'm looking at the settings, i notice that the refreshrate a different for the Horrizontal and for the Vertical. If i recall correctly, i think when the moniter was working properly, that they were even. (60/60)

have you tried the monitor on another computer?

otherwise, it is the vga, or the vga trace in the mobo

could try updating drivers, just for a try first though

can you access the display setup program (on the LCD not the computer) and restore settings to factory default?

Does the same fault occur if you change screen resolution on the computer
