LCD Problem under Text Mode

Hi, I have a MicroTek 15" LCD monitor which worked with Sis620 display card quite well. I recently bought a new machine with GeForce4 MX420 display card, and it worked with a normal 15" monitor quite well. However, when I hook the two together, there are problems under text mode.

When I start the machine, the first screen (auto-detecting memory and IDE devices) shows quite well. Then the monitor starts to light up and becomes bright and yellow-ish, so that nothing can be seen on the screen. Only after Windows starts (it enters video mode), does the monitor become normal again.

Under video mode, the monitor and the video card works perfectly well together.

When I shut the machine down, the monitor does not shut down but starts to light up and becomes bright blue. Even when I turn off the power of the computer and disconnect the monitor, it still shows the blue screen and just cannot be turned off from panel buttons. I have to disconnet the power supply to turn the monitor off.

Can anyone tell me what this problem is and how I can solve it? Thanks very much!
