LCD panel Interchangebility ???

I have an IBM T30 here that needs a new LCD panel.

I hear that LCD panels are interchangeble between brands (to a certain extent).

What other brands/models would be compatible with my IBM T30 Model 2366 ?

The part # is Samsung LTN141XE-L01 also 11P8289 and 11P8294.
 
being so old, it would probably be difficult to find a replacement. certainly new panels these days would not be compatible. a lot of those old laptops had some kind of proprietary connection.

 
I think your best bet is to get a like model on E-Bay and replace your laptop or cannibalize the one from E-Bay.

what ^ they all said. if you DO manage to find another T30 w/a good lcd, you might be able to simply swap the entire lid. that would be the cheapest/easiest route.
