LCD no signal?

I plugged in my Viewsonic 120Hz LCD into my machine. From what Viewsonic says, their monitor will not run 120Hz with an ATI card: it did not specify that on New Egg. When in 120hz mode, the driver stopped responding and ...bsod. So with the crash, I shut off the PC by a hard shut-off. I then proceeded to use my old (75hz max) LCD. It worked on the first boot and then it hasn't worked since then. IIRC the refresh rate was still at 120hz when i did a hard shut-down. Did it screw up my old LCD?

If so, i'll have 2 monitors with no use rather than 1. Before I bought the new LCD I had 2 of the same 19" 75hz LCD's To cross check the issue, I plugged the LCD in question to my other PC and still no signal...
