I have heard people claim LCDs give NO RADIATION..I am not exactly a physicist but I know tht is not true. My question is does it emit alot less then CRT? Say both are 17 inches?

From what I've been able to gather LCD's emit less radiation in the same part of the spectrum as CRT's, but actually emit more in other parts that CRT's. My feeling is that the concern for EMI is a bit overdone. All monitors today have low enough emissions that unless you have the monitor sitting on your lap and your face touching the screen, you shouldn't really be all that concerned. There are so many other sources of radiation (cell phone to start with) in daily life that a monitor is the least of my worries.
