LCD monitor

my video card supports both analog and digital connections. i'm wondering what is the difference between those LCD's that feature analog vs. digital connections. the price difference i've seen is more than $100.

thanks,
mike =)

LCDs that use digital connection get a pure digital output to the monitor (best picture quality/does not differ with different cards since it is pure digital signal) and the analog is just like a filtered digital signal, less quality, and sometimes alot less depending on the video card used...

There should be a difference somewhere, but I don't see any when I use analog and digital on Dell fp1702.
Actually it's little better 2D quality w/G450 than Radeon7500 DVI-D.
Check it out for yourself, if possible.
