Basically, I need a good LCD monitor that has great response time (8ms) and that has a good refresh rate. For price, around $300. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Also I like to play fast pace games such as Counter-Strike.

LCD monitors don't have refresh rates like crts. They all run at 60hz, but it's much different than a crt a 60 hz.
