anyone know if there is a LCD Monitor (not TV) that can support 120hz refresh rate? or if one doesn't exist yet, is there one thats on the horizon?

edit:

was digging around and found a press release from NEC and another from fudzilla, imo this is the LCD that will convert me from CRT to LCD.

You can ignore anything you read about 120hz on LCDs. That term is just marketing speak for the black frame insertion system, not 120hz at all.

The only LCD that can be considered to be 120hz is this one, but the way it works is it uses two distinct, overlapping panels that each run at 60hz. Single link DVI doesn't support over 60hz at many resolutions, so it uses a separate DVI cable for each panel and the computer reads it as two different monitors.

It's funny how they market BFI and say it equals to 120hz. I have a BenQ X2200W which uses BFI ("PerfectMotion") inserting a black frame between each frame.

Effectively and visually, this makes it 30HZ and not 120hz.

Even if it isn't a true 120Hz panel, the specs are still pretty bomb diggity
