Looking to purchase a new LCD monitor. I was wondering, is there a LCD TV (22? to 32?) that is comparable to a good LCD monitor such as 24? or 27? Dell?

What are your primarily using this for? A computer? Hooking it up to cable/satallitte as well?

You might want to look at the Westinghouse 32" but the resolution is only 13xx by 7xx whatever those numbers are :)
It has great reviews but it isn't cheap. What is your budget? This thing is normally priced around $800 i think but is frequently on sale for the $600-$700 range I believe.

To get a 32' lcd tv with a resolution as high as the dells your going to have to spend upwards of $1000, like the Sharp Aquos.

Otherwise I am not to sure, I checked Cnet for you but there are simply too many. Just make sure if you need a DVI output for your computer that the tv comes with one, many do not.

Thanks for the response. The monitor would mainly be used for the computer. However, I like the option of some times watching TV on PIP while using the computer. Depending on size I am willing to pay around $800.00

For a computer monitor, I DO NOT recommend getting a 720P TV (1366x768, 1280x720.. etc) You need 1080P otherwise you will get extremely annoyed with the lack of desktop space.

Your choices aren't to good in this sector, as 1080p TV's are going to be above your price range, however Sharp has a very nice 1080p 32 Inch TV that would do you perfectly, but it is 950 bucks or so on pricegrabber.

Westinghouse is the next smallest 1080p at 37 inches, for 999. Alot of other brands also have 37 inch 1080p's at higher prices which are likely nicer, but again they go above your price range. (STAY AWAY FROM SCEPTRE)

Overall, though, the Dell 2407 is going to offer you the best options, considering it is 1920x1200, and 1080p sets are 1920x1080. I personally have a Dell 2407, and a Vizio 1080P 47 Inch LCD TV, and I prefer the 2407 for computer usage for everything but movie playback. However the Vizio is in my living room, the 2407 in my bedroom, so I tend to watch movies on both pretty often.
