LCD Monitor Thickness?

Rogue

Banned
I am scheming up a project and need to know the approximate thickness of both 15" and 17" LCD displays? Most manufacturers put the depth of the monitor as the depth/width of the base or foot that the LCD stands on. I need to know the thickness of just the panel itself, as if it was being hung on the wall. Can anyone with either at 15" or a 17" LCD display weigh in with a thickness measurement? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. My application probably won't use something that large, but I'm guessing most LCD displays are about the same thickness. Anyone else with a 15" or 17"?

My 2-year old Viewsonic VG150 15" screen is about 1" thick at the thinnest part and 2 1/4" thick at the bulge.
