LCD monitor question about 250 cd/m2 VS 250 cd/m3

what is the diff between the 250 cd/m2 and the 250 cd/m3. The Samsung 171P is almost identical to the Samsung 172T except it has a 250 cd/m2 instead of the 250 cd/m3 that the 172T has. Any difference?

Must be a typo, the standard measurement for luminance is cd/m2 .
