LCD monitor has discoloration in a corner

There's a corner of the screen that has a brownish tint no matter what the screen is supposed to display. Take a look at the pic...

I thought it was just dirt so I tried to rub that corner. Nothing happened.

Then I noticed that I look at the monitor from an angle, the brown color disappears.

What is this?

I think this is the 3rd thread I've seen on this for 2007FPs. I don't know what's up with them, but this seems to be fairly common.

Caused by blue going out in an area

I e-mailed Dell small business support and they sent me a new monitor two days later with pre-paid return shipping for the defective one.
