I've noticed that when I wake up my Dell UltraSharp 1703FP, the backlight seems to flicker ever so slightly for about 2-3 seconds before stablizing. Its as if the backlight isn't warmed up or something when I first switch it on.
As far as I can tell the flickering does not return so long as the monitor remains on, and if I turn the monitor off for short periods of time (like 5 mins or so), and turn it back on I don't see it either.
I don't think this is a problem, but I'm not totally sure. Anyone else notice this on their panels?
