I have a new NEC 2070NX 4:3 running at 1600 x 1200 with an ATI card running the latest drivers (assuming no conflicts with earlier ones)
Now I am new to LCD's having had CRT's for 15 years I am finding that the icons in windows apps. eg IE favourites folders along the left and the back and forward arrows top left seem to be weak in colour.
Do I need to add depth to colour in the monitor setting so they look right at the expense of other screen colours ie. internet pages.
Are windows desktop and other icons susceptable to poor quality, could I have a driver problem or should I just get a life.
BTW I run XP the monitor cost a bomb and I want my CRT back. Please offer some advice (even if it's rude
