LCD Monitor and PCI Videocard Help.

My friend has a dying 3 year old CRT monitor and he asked me if I could pick him out a 19" widescreen LCD for about $200.00 USD. He has integrated Intel 82845G graphics and no AGP slot. So I told him he would probably need a cheap PCI videocard which would have DVI out for the lcd and support the LCD monitors native res of 1440 x 900. I have picked out 2 monitors and 1 videocard.

Monitors:
Hanns
Sceptre

VC:
Radeon 7000

I'm not too sure about the videocard supporting the 1440x900 res by default. This would come to $210.00 shipped using Neweggs free shipping with paypal that ends today. Just wondering if you all have any tips, suggestions or other input. Do you think he would be happy with the jump to the LCD? I personally use a 19" CRT and I was looking at some 19" widescreen LCD's in a local store and although they were wide they looked kind of tiny.
Thanks!
