LCD menu access to gray scale the panel outside of Windows?

Just as most, if not all external monitors have a user menu to adjust colors and on the better monitors, to also adjust gray scale, do any Laptops have a similar (probably hidden) menu to do the same without using the video chipset's software inside of Windows?

When these are setup during assembly, there must be something available to match the panel to the laptop. My reason is simple, I don't want to install the bloated associated software package to do a one time tweak to un-blue the panel on this HP Probook 6546b.
