I recently decided to make the switch to LCD for my primary display. I purchased a Samsung 172X display from Newegg and it arrived with 4 dead pixels in the center of the screen. Regardless of their 8 dead pixel return policy, I made them refund my money. I will never again order an LCD online.
The next LCD im willing to try is an LG L1720P. Best Buy has one for $499 after rebate, and because I have a manager friend there, im sure I can return it if necessary. Anyone have experience with this particular model, or any other LG display? I did a search on Google for a review but cant find anything but user reviews which I dont trust, so if anyone knows a site that covers this particular display or a similar model, id appriciate if you posted a link. Thanks.
