LCD keeps losing signal!

I have a couple month old VP191B. When I first purchased it, I noticed that sometimes when rotating the monitor, it would lose signal. There is nothing wrong with the plugs, they are all snug and secure. Nothing fixes it except a manual reboot of my computer.

The problem is becoming more frequent. Now if I tap the desk with my knee, the monitor loses signal. Any way to fix or RMA a necessity?

Have you tried pulling the power cord from the LCD and plugging it back in? I used to work with an LCD that did that all the time, but at random. It would just up and say that there was no signal. I'd have to pull the power cord and plug it back in.

Loose connection either in the monitor (RMA time) or inside the monitor or power cable. You could have a hairline break in an internat wire in one of the cables.

Hmm, I don't -think- it's the DVI cable or power cable. For one thing, smacking them around and/or unplugging them and re-seating them when this happens has NO effect. I have contacted Viewsonic about it and they were going to issue me an RMA but they disappeared this week. :/
