LCD image very intense on nforce1 video

At work I have an MSI NForce1 with the built in video. I tried hooking up 2 different 17" LCD's today to the onboard video. I don't know how to describe it, but the image on the LCD panels was extremely 'intense' or something because it literally made me sick after looking at it for about 30 seconds. No matter what I tried to do with the contrast/brightness, I could hardly stand it. The same LCD's hooked up to my laptop seemed fine. Has anyone ever seen this before?
 
There should be some kind of "color temperature" setting in the options for the monitors. Changing that could help.
