LCD help as a gift

gift is for my parents. they aren't PC savvy at all and it's used primarily for internet browsing, email, and online streaming (no TV reception). it will replace an old 17" CRT. I'm not looking to spend big, and this seems like the best LCD I've come across atm for my price range.

has larger screen size, resolution, and glossy screen (their PC is in a dimly lit room, and I personally like glossy) than similarly price LCDs. I haven't been able to find many reviews about it, but user reviews seem to be positive.

anyways, just making this thread if anyone has other recommendations or a reason not to go with an AOC LCD.

I also came across a 24" Samsung LCD priced at $190 through 11/29. was tempting to purchase for myself but I don't really need it. so I guess this is an advertisement for anyone in the market for one.

You need to think about what the PC can handle as well. If they are streaming larger movies or even HULU hi-def they may not have the GPU power needed to handle a larger monitor.
