In considering a new HDTV, I've determined that the best fit for my existing entertainment center would be a 42" Sharp Aquos. I have one issue though, and that is my little 1.7yr old daughter... she likes to touch everything.
I'm wondering how feasible if I took a big piece of lexan, cut it to fit, and made a big window in front of the TV. This would effectively close off the area the TV would fit in, although it would still be vented at the top.. but not by much.
Logic states that it needs more ventilation than that, but I'm not sure how much heat the tv's actually throw.
Any advice?
