Thanks for reading...
Any suggestions for the best quality LCDTV used as a monitor also for PC?

32" and lower, preferred a 26" LCD TV

or would getting a monitor and a TVTUNER be a better way to go?

opinions please?!?

thanks!

i need a new monitor... so my thought process is this...
spending about $200.00 for a LCDTV would be best b/c i have an analog tv now, so that nips the digital TV switch.

i would be PCing more (graphic design/photography)

If you are doing graphic design + photography you really don't want to be doing that on a TV.

Invest in a nice monitor. $200 budget won't cut it I am afraid

http://www.behardware.com/html/cat/22/ (their monitor reviews use calibration testing)

That being said, BassBomb is right.

A high quality monitor for photography and graphic design is going to cost a lot more than that.

Could also look at some of the larger Dell LCDs that are targeted towards that type of market (don't know which ones, though).

MacBook Pro with matte screen might work well, but don't know if your programs are Windows only.

That's the best advice of the thread. I'm looking to do the same thing but more for watching tv and the 26's you can find for 400-500. I'm looking towards 32" because its almost the same price for 50% bigger.

shucks, i knew that would be my answer but i was hopeful for something i didnt know...
😉

plus LCDs are hard with calibrating

thanks for your time.
