Ive just made the jump from CRT to an LCD monitor

I want to check if my new monitor is ghosting

The monitor is 2ms, and i can hardly notice any ghosting whilst playing games the only thing i can notice is a slight amount of blurr when i spin round quickly of FPS'S

However i can notice ghosting when dragging small pieces of text along a screen at moderate speed, the text becomes blurry and distorted (for example when i drag my steam window along the screen i find it difficult to read the text)

Is this normal???

A slight amount of ghosting is not only normal but inevitable with LCD technology. What model of LCD did you get?

I got the LG L226WTQ i know the US and Asian models suffer from extreme ghosting, but from what i hear and have seen so far the European version doesnt have the same problem thats why i want to check because ive never owned an LCD before and i cant gauge it on any other Monitor

Is there any program that can help me with this?

I have the LG226WT. No ghosting. Not detectable by me anyway. TN panels have the fastest refresh rate (or switching pixels) over any other panel. Great for gaming. Picture quality and viewing angles are not as good as other panels. (MVA, IPS, PVA etc.) Anyone chime in if I'm off.
