Looking at the LCD sticky, there are a few recommendations for prosumer monitors which I've listed below. There are a few pro monitors listed by they're very expensive. Now would an IPS screen be the best choice, and are there any LCDs that you'd recommend for a full-time graphic designer that aren't listed in the sticky? Thanks!

1. 20.1": NEC MultiSync LCD2070NX 1600x1200 (4:3)
Panel: LG.Philips LM201U04 (S-IPS 8-bit)
Response time (bwb/measured): 16 ms / X-Bit Labs
Specs: NEC MultiSync LCD2070NX
Notes: For general usage and photo editing, you'll probably want to disable the DV mode (adaptive contrast) in the monitor OSD. Black bezel version is LCD2070NX-BK.
Price: ~$475 USD

2. 21.0": Samsung SyncMaster 215TW 1680x1050 (16:10)
Panel: Samsung LTM210M2 (S-PVA 8-bit)
Response time (g2g): 8 ms.
Specs: Samsung SyncMaster 215TW
Notes: Acceptable for gaming (<20 ms.) High contrast and great color saturation.
Price: ~$500 USD

3. 21.3": Samsung SyncMaster 214T 1600x1200 (4:3)
Panel: Samsung LTM213U6 (S-PVA 8-bit)
Response time (g2g): 8 ms (Maximum PC however said ghosting was easily noticeable while gaming).
Specs: Samsung SyncMaster 214T
Notes: Unsuitable for gaming, but great color.
Price: ~$650 USD
