Anyone know which manufacturer(s) are offering the best 'bad pixel' guarantee in the market? I'm willing to pay a few bones extra for quality and a good warranty, because replacing a flat panel monitor which has a few bad pixels but doesn't meet the 'bad pixel' guarantee will certainly be more expensive.
I was at a friend's house recently and he has 4 bad pixels on his flat panel, it is annoying as hell to look at. I cannot remember what the brand was, one of the off brands. He contacted them about a replacement, but they essentially told him 'too bad, so sad, it doesn't have enough bad pixels to meet our replacement warranty'.
