LCD display - has power, but no video signal

Note: I do not have these LCDs in my possession - all info I post is all the info I've got.

I found a classified listing for two 17" LCD monitors - both have power (LED illuminates), but receive no signal. The ad stated that it may be a fuse..is this a common problem with any LCDs, or something I may be able to fix easily? He only wanted $10 (typo?) for the two of them..worth the drive if I can get them to work, but definitely not if they're wasted.
