The following pertains to a 15" NEC LCD. I am going to guess that net refers to the actual light emitting part whereas the gross refers to the the net plus the size of the frame. Ok? So then why is the gross shallower in depth (4.9") than the net (with stand) at 4.9"? I don't get it.
Net (with stand):
14.0 in. (W) x 14.0 in. (H) x 5.9 in. (D)
356 mm (W) x 356.5 mm (H) x 150 mm (D)
Net (without stand):
14.0 in. (W) x 11.8 in. (H) x 1.7 in. (D)
356 mm (W) x 299 mm (H) x 44 mm (D)
Gross:
16.7 in. (W) x 16.0 in. (H) x 4.9 in. (D)
423 mm (W) x 406 mm (H) x 125 mm (D)
Net (with stand):
14.0 in. (W) x 14.0 in. (H) x 5.9 in. (D)
356 mm (W) x 356.5 mm (H) x 150 mm (D)
Net (without stand):
14.0 in. (W) x 11.8 in. (H) x 1.7 in. (D)
356 mm (W) x 299 mm (H) x 44 mm (D)
Gross:
16.7 in. (W) x 16.0 in. (H) x 4.9 in. (D)
423 mm (W) x 406 mm (H) x 125 mm (D)
