LCD Debate: 172T vs 1800fp and others

I want my deskspace next year so CRTs are out of the question. These are the two monitors that I have narrowed it down to but other suggestions are very welcome:

172T Pros
-High Contrast (500:1)
-Thin Bezel
-Very adjustable
-Wall Mountable
-Bright
-Small Footprint
-Viewing Angle
-.264 Dot Pitch
-Best Lookin Chasis in pics

172T Cons
-PRICE
-25ms according to some, but I really think this is overrated

1800FP Pros
-Price : size (18" yet cheaper)
-Highly rated here on the forums
-Viewing angle
-Anti-glare coating

1800FP Cons
-350:1 contrast
-.285 dot pitch (doubt this matters much)
-IMO Ugly Chassis in pics though I've never seen it in person

Feel free to add/correct the pros/cons.

Anyone who owns or has used one of these, throw in your $.02.
(i.e. "get a NEC 1760NX because it has 16ms over the 172t's 25ms" will not be of great help unless you have actually done some comparison)

As far as your 25ms con on the 172T: I have a 172T and I use the DVI input and I havent had problems with ghosting or trailing or whatever in any sense. This LCD has been flawless. It was definitely worth the money. Especially since I think the price dropped 50 dollars since i bought it 🙁
