Hey hey, I'm trying to repair a latop (Dell 1150) with a cracked and bleeding 14.1" LCD! Now I have an LCD out of a Compaq, and it's also 14.1".. the Compaq fits perfectly into the Dell bracket, the only thing that's giving me trouble is the connectors.. they're different on both the motherboard end as well as the LCD board end.
Now I'm not against splicin' up wires here, but I can't find any sort of pinouts for either of these LCD's... I'm also hoping there's a better solution, perhaps some sort of adapter/converter? I'm open to just about any suggestions... my last resort is buying one off eBay but that's really only last resort.
Here's the model numbers off both the LCD's and their respective cables:
DELL (CRACKED)
LCD: LTN141XB-L01
CABLE: CN-OP3547-12961-481-M05C
Compaq (GOOD)
LCD: UB141X02 / B141XG03
CABLE: AA9550500006S0
Thanks again,
-Dan
