LCD color change

When my Acer AL2223W LCD comes out of a sleep state. pink in color. As it worms up it fades
to its normal color settings. Like the rising sun fading from top to bottom.
 
This is a common thing with the backlighting lamps used in standard LCD panels today. Over time, as the lamps age, they tend to take more time to warm up to it's normal state.

its on its way to death. i had one, soon, it will take longer to start, eventually, black screen. lcd pixels still respond, but backlight will be gone, you can tell by shining a flashlight at the screen.
