I'm sort of new to the whole LCD thing, just got mine a few weeks ago and I've having trouble cleaning it. There are a few spudges my rommate so gracfully put on there that won't come out by wiping it with a cloth. How do I get these out? Whats safe to use?

Also, I'm actually thinking of selling out my 2 19" LCD's and buying like a 27" LCD TV (8 or 12ms). Any thoughts as to if this would be a good change or not. Can I even use an LCD TV as a regular PC monitor? If I can it would be used for mostly movies, TV, and some gaming.

Thanks alot

If you want a large monitor, go for a Dell 2405FPW. It's got much higher resolution than any LCD TV, as well as about a billion other reasons why I'd recommend it.

Ok I have a price range though, and that Dell monitor is definatly over that range. I wouldnt spend any more than $750ish. Anything good under that?

I screwed a spray top on a bottle of rubbing alcohol and clean mine with that.

Dunno if it's something I wanna recommend for others, but just thought I'd share. =p

Pretty sure dell LCD documentation says to never use anything other than mild soap/water.
