The only thing I can say is that I have a Samsung, only 15 inches but it has worked great for everything i have ever used it for. I am looking at upgrading to at least 19 inches, but my monitor has 12ms response time i believe and i have never ever seen ghosting. You should be well off with the 8ms response time.

I personally would go with the Samsung, due to personal experience. My second choice would be LG.

The L90D+ was a great gaming LCD, but has been plagued with problems over the last few months. Check out the Newegg reviews. I would defintiely stay away from that monitor.
My choice out of that group would be the Samsung 940B. <$300 AR is an excellnt price for that monitor.

Checkout the LCD buyer's giude sticky in the video forum.

In terms of pure marketing, the VX924 is 3ms grey to grey. There is a very good review of currently fastest 19" LCDs HERE.

My conclusions from this article are the following (and I'm about to purchase a ViewSonic VX924):

- there is simply no difference between the response time of VX924 and the new VX922 - 3 ms gtg or 2 ms gtg are exactly the same in practice;
- VX924 and all the sub-6 ms TN panels are really ahead of the others in terms of the response time.

If this is a monitor for gaming, and you don't want the absolutely best color reproduction (TN low ms panels are 6 bit + dithering) and viewing angles (vertical in particular), the VX924 is the best choice IMO.

I've read multiple reviews of VX924 and it seems that this monitor hardly exhibits any severe color banding or the so-called "jeans pattern effect" due to dithering. A good LCD, it seems.

As for Samsung 930BF, I wouldn't recommend it. The technology leading to the very fast response times (as can be read on xbitlabs) is very poorly implemented so the monitor is fast but in practice, it often leaves white trails or suffers from severe discoloration when moving, e.g. in games.
