LCD calibration - Samsung 215TW

Newbie here: Just purchased a Samsung 215TW to use with a nVidia 7600GT for photo editing. Is it better to default the card and adjust the monitor, or the other way around? I assume it?s not a good idea to tweak both. What about ClearType: on or off?

I run mine with just using the OSD of the monitor.

Red at 40
Green at 40
Blue at 70
Contrast 80
Brightness 80

Try those and see how it looks to you, I am a gamer so those settings seem nice for me to balance colors for both browsing and gaming along with reducing blacklight bleeding, which isnt really bad anyhow.
