Resolution (1440 x 900): what other resolutions could the LCD run at?

Norcent 19" Widescreen LCD

EDIT:

From the responses it sounds like my options are 1440 X900 or 720X450, so now I'm trying to figure out if my rig would be able to play movies at 1440 X900 and look good.

Well, the Rig I have is an:

AMD XP 3200+
1 GB of PC 3200 RAM
Geforce 440 MX w/ 128MB of RAM

I'm hoping that I can get a well priced LCD monitor and use this Rig for watching movies and listening to music in my living room. Would I need to make any upgrades to the rig, and would this monitor work?

It can run at any resolution below that. For best results you will want to stick to widescreen resolutions with the same aspect ratio. Ideally you would only use that the default resolution is an even multiple of (for instance, 720 x 450, but that's an odd and low resolution).

There's a list of some relatively common resolutions here.

hummmm, 720X450 would suck, do you think that my 128mb Geforce 440 MX would be able to play movies at 1440 X 900?

Generally, playing movies would be more of a CPU-intensive exercise than GPU-intensive, unless you're decoding high defninition video streams. If you're just running medium resolution video (say TV or DVD), then you should be able to view it fullscreen no problem.

I'd avoid running anything other than your native resolution, though you can get away with it more easily in video and games.
