Hey

I want to buy a 17" LCD monitor, and I'm looking for advice on what to get. I play games occasionally, and when I do I don't want any streaking problems at all. Also, I don't want to spend more than $600. I've been waiting for about 2 years for LCD technology to mature before buying one for gaming, and I realize I might need to wait longer. Any advice?

What about Hitachi CML174? Other people claim that's better than the viewsonic, any opinions?

if you can find one, get an lcd with a hydis screen. according to tom's it still performs better at games than the 172x and the other 16ms lcds out there.
