I'm looking for a 20-21" LCD to replace my ancient Dell 21" Trinitron. I'm a gamer, but I also do alot of design work (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), so I'm as concerned with color and viewing angle as I am with response and lag. In my quest for an LCD that is a good compromise, I found the ViewSonic VP2130b (http://www.viewsonic.com/produ...ys/proseries/vp2130b/).
Video card will be 8800GT, and preferred res is 1600x1200. Should I be worried about gaming on this thing? Should I be less sceptical about trying to do graphic design work on a 2ms "gaming" panel?
Also, considering that I never watch movies on my PC (I have a 50" HD DLP for that), should I be looking at a widescreen instead?
