If I'm posting in the wrong place, I apologize in advance. This is my first post at Anandtech...

I'd like to purchase a 19"LCD and saw this one on Newegg.

If anyone has any suggestions, product review from personal experience, etc. please reply. I'll take any and all suggestions.

many thanks.

I have used both the 191T and the 181T and they both are excellent monitors. Definitely worth the extra little bit of money, especially with Samsung's great warranty! Enjoy!

I absolutely love my 191T.

But Best Buy has the 192T for a net of the same price... I couldn't find any differences between the two but there is something to be said for instant gratification.

I got the 192t from Newegg awhile back. Its great. Just a little bit better then the 191t, but its not like a night and day difference. Either one would be great, though I would go for the 192t, its not that much more.

Just wanted to say thanks to jdogg707, TeFleming, and Alptraum for responding. I heard such good things concerning the Samsung 191T, however it's always good to hear from users have purchased the product. I'm going for the 192T, like you all said, it's not that much more, and it's got a little better quality.

Very cool forum board here....

Thanks Again!!

Recently bought this monitor and would like to share my thoughts. Right off the bat the color and brightness were a noticeable improvement over my CRT (was using DV-I connection) and the picture was crystal clear. However, there is a tragic downfall to this monitor...ghosting.

If you are a gamer, you may want to avoid this monitor and stick with a CRT, or get yourself a 16ms LCD, which offers the vibrant colors without any of the ghosting.

This was a quote from Predator on the Samsung 191T Flat Screen. Since I'll be purchasing the 192T, am wondering if ghosting would still be an issue with games?

Also, if ghosting is an issue with the 192T, can anyone recommend a 16ms LCD brand... am looking for a 19"

Thanks everyone!!
