Hi all, this is my first post. Please forgive me if I say something wrong.

The price of a decent 30" LCD monitor costs almost the same as a 37" - 42" 1080p LCD TV. I am not sure if 2560 x 1600 reso on the 30" monitor is any useful for me but I guess 1080p should be good enough for office app, movie playback, light gaming and photo editing, right?

But I could be missing something important, somewhere... So should I go for 1080p LCD such as Sharp LC37GP1U or should just stick to LCD monitor?

How about color reproduction, radiation, gaming performance, long hour viewing comfortability,...etc which one is a better way to go?

Thanks
