LazyBoy Sofa recliner: Do merchants have set prices?

Time for a new sofa.. I have gone to several LazyBoy merchants and they all seem to be very close in price. Does LazyBoy have a minimum price that merchants can't go below? Any buying tips for me on this item?
 
Not sure on Lazy Boy stuff, but overall the furniture industry seems to be a very HIGH margin product, just like jewelry stores. Why else are there so many of both stores around?
